Can trainCasca​deObjectDe​tector be used with own feature type?

  • trainCascadeObjectDetector can be used only for Haar/LBP/HOG feature type. Is it possible to use any other feature discriptor other than these?
  • If not can we pass the positive feature set & negative feature set instead of postive and negative images?
  • Is there any other function or library to train a cascade classifier by passing feature vectors in MATLAB.
