The first ways I'd try to locate the license number would be to check the installation instructions you should have been sent (if you purchased your license yourself) or ask your license administrator, probably someone in your IT department (if you're using a license provided by your school, college, university, or company.)

If you can't determine your license number from either of these sources, but you know you are associated with a license, go to the Support page (using the Support link at the top of this page) and scroll down to the "My Support" section. From here you should be able to find information about your license.

If this doesn't provide you enough information, you can contact Customer Service and ask them to send your license information.

Note that if you have a student license then you will not have a license number, and would need to use an activation key.
