how can i model a spring that has reached its free lenght in simscape multibody?

Im workin on a suspension model an I would like to permorm a hardstop after the spring free lenght has been reached.

There is a spring between A an B that will be compressed as the bar #2 spins around O2.

Hi Alejandro,

You can model the spring using the "Internal Mechanics" settings of a prismatic joint, and you can add a hardstop by enabling the upper and lower limits of the joint. See screenshot below.
