How to model a PV system to automatically inject short & open circuit faults?

Hi guys,

I am currently doing a research to develop a fault detection method for PV system. The screenshots show a series-connected PV model to generate V-I and P-V characteristic plot. I am trying to modifying it to meet my requirements. Here are my questions:

1. This model is series-connected PV system, how do I adjust them so they connect in parallel?
2. How to inject short and open circuits fault automatically? In field experiment we use Raspberry Pi to control the relay so that faults can be introduced periodically.
