Can MATLAB / simulink read inertia, CG, etc. from STEP file or other formats?

Hello there!

I am working on a project where I've designed a physical model in SolidWorks, but I want to import this physical model, which is made of multiple moving parts, where some of these parts are made of different materials. I am planing on using MATLAB / Simulink and this model to further model what I am working on, but I cannot seem to find a clear answer on if this is possible to do. My simulation would heavily rely on parameters such as: Center of gravity (CG), inertia, etc. Thus my question:

Is MATLAB / Simulink able to garther this data from the STEP file (or some other format)?

You can do that with Simscape Multibody.
