Matlab sync with Qualisys to get real-time feedback while using the Motion Capture

I am using a Matlab plugin in Quliasys to capture motion data while offering my subjects real-time feedback. One condition does not require too much calculation - I just use the ground reaction force from the force plate. The other condition needs some computation within Matlab. Everytime I run the matlab code while capturing motion data (> 40 markers), Matlab crushed, regardless of conditions. However, matlab works well when I did not collection Qualisys data. I am wondering if anyone has used this function before and how to address to problem of crashing softward.

Hi Jiaqi,

Erwin here from Qualisys. Can you specify which version of the Matlab plugin you are using? The latest version 2.3 contains a fix that prevents Matlab from crashing in certain situations.

Hi Erwin! Thanks for your reply! I have updated my QTM connect to version 2.3! I tested by code while using Qualisys to collect data. No crashing errors, but I got the message saying "failed to read data packet from QTM ". I was thinking it was some connection problem but it seemed Matlab and QTM were synced well. I will go to my lab and test my code again! I will definitely follow up!
