how to plot ECG using microphone component as an input device

I'm a beginner in matlab and we are ask to make a GUI of ECG where the input data are real-time using microphone

how to I get real-time audio input, filter the sound and plot it?

John - what have you tried so far? If you are using the microphone, then consider using the audio recorder.

Are you talking about an electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) or phonocardiogram (electronic stethoscope)?

An electrocardiogram using the sound card as input would require sophisticated instrumentation. A phonocardiogram would require only a microphone.
