Enable client/server communication between Simulink^® software and an application.

Enables external mode.

Off

Disables external mode

Tip

• This check box is selected by default and grayed out.

• Code generation is only supported in external mode.

Dependencies

Selecting External mode enables:

• Transport layer

• MEX-file arguments

• Static memory allocation

Value: 'on' | 'off'
