payuni
Uniform payment equal to varying cash flow
Description
Examples
Calculate the Uniform Series Value
This example shows how to calculate the uniform series value using payuni
.
The following cash flow represents the yearly income from an initial investment of $10,000. The annual interest rate is 8%.
Year 1 - $2000
Year 2 - $1500
Year 3 - $3000
Year 4 - $3800
Year 5 - $5000
To calculate the uniform series value:
Series = payuni([-10000 2000 1500 3000 3800 5000], 0.08)
Series = 429.6296
Input Arguments
